Had a great experience at One Half Roastery on Sunday. We were actually quite lucky — there was a private coffee sharing session by Chad Wang, and we were allowed to join even though we didn’t book in advance. It turned out to be such a great experience. We learned a lot about the beans and tasting notes, and the barista even served us a recommendation without asking what we wanted — which made the whole experience feel very personal. Great coffee and great hospitality. Definitely worth visiting.

Strongly recommend to coffee enthusiasts! I’m a big fan of Panama geisha and Ethiopian alo washed, and I asked barista for something different but also clean. He recommended me the Ecuador, and it tastes splendid. The mulled wine and tea after taste is clear when it’s hot, as temperature comes down, it starts to show more of the sweetness. This is way more than expected at 45 rm. barista came around to ask how it tastes. They really care about their coffee, which is always an indicator of great specialty coffee shop. highly highly recommend!

One of the most memorable coffee experiences I’ve had. Easy to walk past, but worth finding. The exterior is quiet and charming, and stepping inside immediately feels different. Right at the front is the bar where everything happens, and further inside you can see the roasting machine and a dedicated space for classes. It is a full coffee operation under one roof. While I was there, a latte art class was going on in the back. I did not get to join, but just seeing it added to the atmosphere. This place is clearly built for people who want to go deeper into coffee, not just drink it. The barista brewed my pour over right at the counter and talked through it naturally, no script, no performance. I bought several bags of beans and he explained each one carefully. When he found out I was flying home, he repacked them specifically to handle the pressure change. That kind of thoughtfulness is something you do not forget. We dropped by this place for some coffee. The cafe part is not that large but comfy. Next to the cafe is the roastery. There were many good choices of coffee beans on sale too. Staff were polite and professional. The barista made the coffee in a calm and methodical manner and explained the coffee taste. The coffee was excellent and this is the place for coffee lovers who want to try new flavours.
