No reservation for wkends and public holidays. For b/fast, need to go early like before 9.30am otherwise the loose pre-packed kuih muih and varieties of nasi lemak will be sold out fast. Parking will be a problem esp during wkdays. Cafe is located a few doors away from PJ Old Town Post Office. Food orders and immediate payment are done at Cashier's counter. Menu for other mains and drinks can be found on the wall blackboards, Cashier's counter and printed copies, on request. Food was served fast with missing cutlery though. Our orders of curry mee and cham drink were quite tasteless. Ondeh2 gula melaka filling was still a cube so a crunch bite. Beef and chicken satay were dry though sauce was okay. Lontong and durian kuih were good though. Overall still good to check it out as prices are reasonable and cafe has nostalgic kampong deco vibe.

An slightly upmarket malay mixed riced shop with warm meal made to order, kuih-muih and the occassional specialty of the day which varies from day to day. You wait to be seated, then you queue again for the mixed rice or to get to the counter to order. Qr scan on the table could help with ordering kitchen-prepped meals and drinks and the queue at the mixed rice area. Had a mee rebus - had all the right ingredients cept the sotong. The gravy lacked spice depth. Curry mee was canteen style - old fashioned drink-em-soup up tasty. My colleagues had the mixed rice - it was spicylicious. The kicap egg, chilli padi beef and egg plant. Sweaty-licious. Thoroughly enjoyed himself.

While the highly anticipated Nasi Kunyit and rendang were unfortunately unavailable during the visit, the alternative choices did not disappoint. ​The mee rebus and lontong were flavorful and hit the spot, offering a satisfying taste of traditional flavors, though the portion sizes felt a bit on the small side. ​With its reasonable pricing and welcoming, laid-back vibe, it remains a worthwhile spot in the neighborhood for a quick, fuss-free meal—just come with a slightly lighter appetite.

Tingkap gives you a nostalgic feel. It throws you back to the rime when you follow your grandfather for his morning tea and tou'll get your tea or coffee poured into the saucer to be sipped slowly. If you have your chilhood in the 80s you would enjoy this shop. Highly recommended is the pisang goreng with sambal kicap (Joho style). 5 stars solely just for this pisang goreng set.

One meat, small rice and kangkung also rm11 Anyway prices are all given and places there so u take and pray that price Kuih also got but some are sold out during the morning session. They got lontong and mee rebus (friend said noodle overcooked and felt jelak after a while) maybe that how kelantan does their mee rebus. The satay on the sweet side i dont like even peanut sauce also omg sweet.

A beautiful, cozy, industrial and antics decorated cafe. Services were good. Staff were friendly and polite. However, the foods could be better. Ordered mee rebus, mee kari, satay daging, roti bakar and some kuih. The satay daging were too hard, although good balance between fats and meats. Same for roti bakar, they were hard, too. Kopi O didn't have enough coffee, perhaps too much water diluted it. The mee kari was the better foods among all. Good balance in the curry taste and thick enough. Prices were affordable, but food quality could be improved in our opinion.

The mee rebus is on the sweet side and the color is very pale. Coffee is sweet yet the coffee taste is not strong . The glutinous rice with rendang is good, rendang is very flavourful. The most delicious is satay but it cost RM1.50/stick. The shop requires customers to order at the counter. There is no menu provided at the table, so you need to decide what to order while queuing or when you are in front of the cashier. Alternatively, you can take a photo of the menu at the counter, go back to your table to look at it, and then return to the counter to place your order.
