The 1st experience center that i visited so far. Feel Remarkable and Memore when you step in the center. Let us know more better about the oldtown branding. Sure will become a tourist attraction in IPOH town area. Good Job.

If you're visiting Ipoh and enjoy coffee, the OldTown White Coffee Experience Centre is worth a stop. The highlight for me was the small museum upstairs, which explains the history of Ipoh's famous white coffee and how it's produced. There are vintage coffee-making tools, old photographs, and interactive displays that make the experience both educational and enjoyable. After exploring the gallery, I tried some of the coffee downstairs. It was rich and smooth, making for a nice break after walking through the exhibits. Overall, it's a nice place to learn a bit about Ipoh's coffee heritage while enjoying a drink. Admission to the gallery is free, making it an easy stop for tourists and coffee lovers alike.

Such a nice set up here. You can minum kopi and makan here. Visit the level 2 Gallery too. Highly recommended for all tourists to stop by here after you walk through Concubine Street. Nice spot to enjoy coffee and AC on a hot day! Spacious and well curated small gallery to introduce Kopitiam. Love the miniatures exhibits. So detailed!

Had lunch here and it was a really nice experience. The food came out quite fast and everything tasted good. I had the curry me and it was flavourful with a nice spicy kick, while the dry noodles were tasty and came with a comforting bowl of soup on the side. The café was clean, cozy, and had a nice vibe. Loved the warm interior and it felt comfortable to just sit, relax, and enjoy the meal. The drinks were refreshing too. Overall, good food, good atmosphere, and friendly service. Will definitely come back again when I’m craving some local comfort food! 😊☕🍜✨

OldTown White Coffee is very famous, so I decided to try it at least once. However, to be completely honest, I really do not understand the appeal of this coffee. The beans seemed heavily roasted, to the point where the natural flavor of the coffee itself was almost gone. The taste felt as if it had been artificially made pleasant by covering everything with cream. Despite the name, “white coffee” is not actually white, nor does it refer to a specific coffee variety. The name comes from coffee beans roasted with margarine and then served with condensed milk, giving the drink a lighter color. This style of coffee originated in Ipoh and later became popular throughout Malaysia. Today, in Malaysia, “white coffee” often refers to coffee made with beans roasted in margarine. Personally, I felt that anyone who finds this coffee delicious would probably also enjoy instant coffee mix. If I were asked to pay for it again, I would decline. That said, if you are visiting Ipoh and want to try it a

What a nice bright modern cafe and one that has a museum. The cafe is air conditioned and everything looks fresh. I got an Old town white coffee and french toast. The white coffee lived up to its reputation of being smooth and less buttery. The French toast went well with the palm sugar. The museum on the top floor exhibits a run through the coffee production process along with some models of old school coffee shops. Two lovely experiences in one.

As a first-timer from Indonesia, visiting the OldTown Heritage Centre in Ipoh was a highlight of my trip! Coming from a country with its own rich coffee culture, it was fascinating to see how Ipoh’s "White Coffee" legacy is preserved here. The museum section on the upper floor is relatively small, but don’t let that deter you, it is more than enough to tell the story of the brand and the city’s tin-mining history without being overwhelming. What I loved most was the interior; the Peranakan-style decor is stunning and blends seamlessly with the museum exhibits. It feels like stepping back in time while still enjoying modern comforts. It’s the perfect spot to escape the Ipoh heat, learn a bit of history, and enjoy a signature brew. A must-visit for any fellow Indonesian travelers looking for a mix of culture and caffeine!

Good to see and have experience regarding coffee. Customer can enjoy meals here (as most OldTown cafe already shuts down). Happy to know that OldTown White Coffee had participated in ESD initiatives, the interactive machine is a very good info station. Suggestion: increase more seats @ places for customer to enjoy coffee@meals here. Mayb can have OldTown White Coffee postcard and cop as memory to come here.
