“I arrived at 11 o'clock and it was still not that crowded. I ordered chicken baked paper, it tasted delicious and authentic, sapo tofu was also delicious. There are still many menus that I haven't tried, they all look delicious. Next time I will try other menu”

Joanne PeaceMind★★★★The bittergourd is nice, doesn’t have bitter taste (impressive). The rest of food is decent house cook taste. Toilet is dirty, hope can improve. The cod fish price is decent then steam method is normal, I hope to try to stir fry maybe more taster. Overall if Singapore people comes to JB to dine, the cost is really attractive but to their local this type of restaurant price is consider at average high. Is this restaurant really have the “wow” factor, no for me. But it is nice home cook food taste. The environment cleanliness… really a lot to improve because my ladies friends don’t dare to go toilet as it is dirty and end up we need to find the nearest shopping mall toilet. One star off for toilet.
TheLocalCompass★★★★★⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐ Fully Recommended, Visited on Friday (10/4) for lunch. The crowd was average, but the food was truly awesome! The chicken was very tasty, and the sambal petai was a standout—absolutely delicious. We also had the fresh young coconut and the seabass; the sauce on the fish was excellent. Service was great and the staff were very attentive. My only critique is that there were several flies in the indoor seating area, which they should look into for better pest control. Highly recommended, especially for Singaporeans coming through Woodlands customs!
Jay Tham★★★★★Had a fantastic meal at Teck Sing! We ordered the famous paper baked chicken, sambal petai, drunken prawns in claypot, seabass, and fried crab with pepper. The paper baked chicken was definitely the highlight. It was tender, flavourful, and really lived up to the hype. The sambal was so good, rich, fragrant, and addictive. The prawns were fresh, and the soup from the drunken prawn claypot was fantastic. We actually over-ordered because we saw so many tables ordering these dishes and wanted to try everything. No regrets at all, every dish was delicious. Great old-school Chinese restaurant with comforting food and a very local JB dining feel. Highly recommended!
Mike Yong★★★★★Came about 1330h. Lunch crowd; short wait of 15min. (It was quieter after 2pm) Ordered the signature herbal chicken (wrapped in paper), curry fishhead & fried Kang Kong. Food came very promptly (piping hot!) - almost immediate for the veggie. Chicken was tender and soft; soak deliciously in the herbal broth. Fishhead was fresh; cook to perfection. A sumptuous meal for 2! All for RM$123!
Sean T★★★★★Here’s a longer, natural-sounding Google review you can post: ⸻ Had lunch at Teck Sing Restaurant and it was a very satisfying meal overall. The food quality here is genuinely good and you can tell why this place is always popular with both locals and Singaporeans crossing over for a meal. Portions are generous, flavours are bold, and everything tasted very homely and comforting. The 南乳 pork is an absolute must-order. The sauce is incredibly fragrant, rich and savoury with just the right balance of sweetness and fermented bean curd flavour. The pork was tender and well-marinated, making it one of the standout dishes of the meal. Definitely something I would come back for again. Another highlight was the 鐵板豆腐 (hotplate tofu). Served sizzling hot, the tofu was soft inside with a lightly crisp exterior, coated in a deliciously savoury gravy that paired perfectly with rice. Simple dish done very well. Service was efficient despite the crowd, and dishes came out fairly quickly. The re

Eric Lee★★★★Arrived at 11:45 and it was wasn’t too busy yet. Service Do not expect 5 star, but it’s was good enough. Service staff is accommodating and efficient. Food We ordered the usual signature dishes (see pics) & all of them were good. Especially worth mentioning were the paper wrapped chicken, hot plate tofu & pork belly. Conclusion Overall an enjoyable meal and a place we would definitely come back for.
