I’m a regular customer here, and I have lunch here most days. Sometimes it’s full house and I need to wait around 10 minutes to be seated, but it’s always worth the wait! Staff and Service: The staff are attentive, friendly, and always welcoming with a smile. Service here is consistently good — they really make you feel comfortable and taken care of. Food: I’m a big fan of their Spicy Thai Fried Rice — the sambal that comes with it is incredibly delicious! That’s usually my go-to dish, but I’ve also tried several other menu items, and they’re just as good. My favourites include: • Chicken Parmigiana • Tom Yum Seafood • Carbonara Pasta with Beef Bacon • Beef Rendang Pasta Overall, great food, warm service, and consistent quality. Definitely one of my favourite spots for lunch!

Spaghetti rendang penne I fully irrevocably strongly recommend, perhaps the best tasting food here at only rm35. The rendang was the best thing, the meat was perfectly done, soft enough but not too soft. The paste of the rendang is spicy but not too spicy, the aroma you smell it, it reminds you of your childhood. Absolute fabulous. I ordered serai drink and it came with actual serai, LOL, recommended but the price is a bit atas. But worth it

Brought my visitors from Australia for lunch as they wanted to taste authentic Malaysian fare. Serai did not disappoint in that sense. We had the Oxtail Assam Pedas and Deep Fried Fish with tangy mango salad which my friends thoroughly enjoyed. Unfortunately the service standard did not match the culinary experience. The server who took our order was nonchalant and could not offer any opinion to assist us in the choice of fish between grouper and sea bass. There was no warmth or smile from any of the servers throughout the meal period. For such a high price point (bill came to RM 300+), is it too much to ask for some semblance of hospitality from such an established outlet? I will have to think twice before bringing my friends here in future.
