As I ascended the stairs, the vibrant ambiance instantly set the tone for an enjoyable evening, with twinkling lights and a gentle breeze adding to the charm. The friendly service staff further elevated the ambiance, always ready with recommendations (especially Sagar Tamang bhai) and ensuring that my glass was never empty especially when it came to the local Barasinghe beer, which quickly became my go-to drink. I highly recommend trying the local beer, Barasinghe. This place became my favorite hangout during my stay. With its great ambiance, diverse menu, and welcoming service, Fat Monk’s Bar is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in delicious food and drink. I left with a full belly and a happy heart, already planning my next visit.

Rooftop bar, restaurant located right at the top floor of the building. Low ceiling so please beware when walking up the stairs. Welcoming and warmth staff, friendly and hospitable service crew. There’s a live band performing while we were there. It’s a nice rooftop concept, brilliant ambience and chillax environment. The place is nice and cosy, good vibes as well. Food wise, besides momo I don’t recommend any of the other dishes or dishes that states it contained beef. Enjoyed both the steam and fried momo, juicy delicious and spicy as well. The aloo mustang is super spicy, if you don’t take spicy Better to stay away from it as well. Nachos is soaked with gravy, overall not bad I guess, it could be better if it’s nachos instead of crackers. Also don’t order the beef nachos. The New York steak is overly done and tough and chewy.
