My rate 4/5. It's a cozy and affordable restaurant in the city centre of Arnhem. The menu has many choices so everyone could find something suitable for them. The food was good. With 3 course menu it was enough. Staff was fine. It's a small restaurant so you should make a reservation. Recommend for couple or friends.

Nice experience in terms of food, atmosphere and personnel. The Schnitzels we had were generous in size but especially tasty, soft and flavorful. Value for money was good too and the staff kind and friendly. We’ll certainly go back soon. Definitely one of the best places in Arnhem we’ve dined at in three years living here ☺️

Borrel Karakter lives up to its name as a social place to gather with colleague and friends. They have a small patio outside with heaters and more tables inside. The food was amazing for the most part. They have a 3 course menu for 40 where you get a starter, main course and dessert. My colleague ordered the nachos to start which was the only weird item I thought tasted more like stadium food. However Karakter redeemed itself with the salmon tartar which was fresh and a large portion. The schnitzel was delicious and light. It was a huge piece but pounded very thin and camw with a light potato

Very nice and cozy small restaurant… Food was very good and the staff , even though were only 2 people in the service was really alert and helpful… Only minus point was the music (based to my type)… Was a bit more Rock … But I’ll be back for sure..
