Always busy in the summer, but a good spot to visit as a family — especially after a day at Zoetermeer Lake beach, for example. The prices are ok and there are lots of vegan options. We often just stop by for a snack instead of a full meal. They also have ice creams for kids.

While birding we end up here for lunch. The location is great. The ambiance is somewhat Canadian shack with Moose photos and Moose head on the walls. Well, you can also get married here. Getting to the food. The union soup was good and warm. The portion for the price is for teenagers not for adults. The split pea soup was new on the menu and they didn’t even made it fresh or by themself. The taste was good and they heated the soup well. Again the portion was small. The calf croquettes were good. Well deep-fried. For this price (€9,50) one would think larger croquettes. The bread was of good

The staff is kind. Good selection of beers. The food we had was tasty and fresh. It took a bit long to serve and the desert Luikse wafel did not taste as good as I had hoped for. All in all still nice place with good ambiance.

We order boerenbrood rundercarpaccio and crispy chicken Burguer. We recommend the rundercarpaccio. It is a nice place, close to a big lake and the service was super good.
