What a find. We stumbled upon this patisserie and are so happy we did. We like the pastry and coffee so much that we went back for lunch. This is a small patisserie run by a local family. I’ve visited the Netherlands for several months and eaten in a lot of places, and this the friendliest shop I’ve been to. Try the appelmarijn invented by the charming, lovely owner, Marijn, and her mother—light apple and raisin pastry with generous powdered sugar—Amazingly delicious. Don’t miss this spot if you visit Dordrecht.

The food here was amazing!! What a great collection of pastry’s and cakes. I had the red velvet cookie and iced coffee which were both delicious! The staff were lovely and accommodating as we couldn’t speak dutch! highly recommend this place!

I have been coming here for a while, especially for the macaron rosé, which is one of my favorites. However, the last time I had it, it did not quite live up to its usual flavor. It lacked the rich, floral notes I am used to. Hopefully, it was just a one-off, as it is usually spot on. What always stays consistent though, is the super attentive and kind staff.
