So far the best Indian food in the region Enschede-Hengelo. The staff is friendly. I really like that they bring a jug of water once you are seated. Something normal in large parts of the world, but very rare in the Netherlands. The menu is small but contains sufficient dishes to make you doubt what to order. Today we ordered: -Dal Tadka -Palak Paneer -Mushroom curry -Garlic Naan The curries had the right amount of spice, a full taste and a proper distinguish from each other. Every curry comes with a bowl of rice, which is a lot. The waiter was so kind to exchange a bowl of rice with Naan. F

The food was fresh, tasty, and well prepared. We really enjoyed the food, especially the non-veg mixed grill, which was delicious. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend it.

I really wanted to rate this higher but unfortunately I just cant. Went on Sunday with a brazilian friend who recommended this place and we took paani puri (8€) as a starter and she took paneer kadai (17€) and I took prawn kadai (21€). The paani puri is the only reason I gave this place 2 stars because the kadai did not taste authentically from India at all. I've had sth similar from lidl which costs like 2 euros and it seemed like they just heated that up and added 4 prawns to that and that's really disappointing imo. Maybe the other main curries taste better but I cant speak for them even. I

I have visited many Indian restaurants in the Netherlands, but Indian Summer is one of the few places that truly feels like authentic Indian cuisine. The food is flavorful, freshly prepared, and tastes much closer to what you would find in India. Every dish was well-balanced with authentic spices and rich flavors. The overall dining experience was fantastic. If you’re looking for genuine Indian food in the Netherlands, I highly recommend Indian Summer. I will definitely be coming back!
