I stopped by Coffee Break for breakfast and it was such a great experience! The place has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere — perfect for a slow morning. I tried their avocado toast with poached eggs and a flat white — everything was super fresh and beautifully presented. The coffee was smooth and rich, one of the best I’ve had in Groningen. Staff were really kind and attentive, making me feel right at home. Definitely a spot I’ll come back to — highly recommend for a relaxed and tasty breakfast!

Love coming here! I go here a few times every week to work on school. Always plenty of seating available with a nice view of the Zuiderdiep. The coffee is tasty (their own blend of nuts, caramel and chocolate) and is served with oat milk by default. The employees are friendly. Not pushy but always down for a chat.

I go here pretty often and was always satisfied with coffee quality but came today 30 mins before closing time, asked for take away and got refused?? Apparently it takes a "long" time to turn off the coffee machine but as someone who has worked in a coffee store before i know very well that's not true Honestly upset as i'm with a friend too showing her the city and the girl serving us was not friendly at all

The best chai latte in town! All staff are really friendly here, you can sit down and study as there are enough ports to charge laptops. You get a broad range of choices for milk and substitutes. Great atmosphere as well.
