We immediately felt as though we stopped at a holiday destination. The restaurant has a lovely sphere with a great location and surrounds. We ordered saté, a boeren omelette, gamba piri-piri and a crème brûlée. Each dish was lovely and well prepared, but the crème brûlée was the showstopper! De Beren can improve on some fine points - we were not attended once seated for some time, the prawn chips with the saté did not seem fresh, and bread should always come with a little butter. Else, everything was really lovely! I will be going back.

Het kost geen reet, maar toch te duur. I'm not familiar with this type of spareribs. It looks like leftover meat was used and just stuck on to the rib. You'd be better off eating a few bags of Ribsters for that money. The quality simply isn't right. And Not at all like I knew the ribs from the Beren in Rotterdam.

Everything is nice in this restaurant but, the number of the chefs and waiters are too few. It is really a big restaurant. We went there with a group of 20. They were extremely nice but you can see the big delays are just because the number of the employees are not enough

I had dinner here and food was good but the portions are so SMALL that you are left hungry.
