Overall the experience was good; Basilica is always a great go to restaurant if you want tasty food with a decent price. However, I was a bit let down with the dessert; the creme brûlée was a bit flavourless, the top wasn’t caramelised enough, also the passion fruit was a very strange addition (it was also extremely bitter and didn’t pair well). Furthermore, I could tell that the watermelon radish, which was used as garnish for two of the dishes, was dry and old. It would have been better to use no garnish at all. Touristy place, right at the center. They forgot what beer I ordered. We also ordered nachos, the amount of nachos was not fair for the price. Unfortunatelly the sauces were tomatoe sauce with basil for pasta probably, cream cheese and some green tasteless cream cheese stuff. Overall it was average.

During vacation a friend and I stumbled upon this nice and classy restaurant. The staff was very friendly, the food delicious and the music really set the mood. We stayed longer than intended because we liked it so much. Pricing for the food is ok, though the bottled beverages are expensive for their size.
