Everyone was really friendly. My daughter was asking me what the asparagus soup was. A young worker listened to it and offered a sample so my daughter could decide. And the rest of employees were are also friendly and nice. Food was also tasty. Thanks for that nice experience.

Went to La Place at midday . Wanted 2 apple balls with vanilla sauce. But they had run out of vanilla sauce and was told they didn't have ingredients to make more even though they had lots of apples left. So had them without sauce. Ordered and paid for a cheese burger - 11.95 euros - which we had to collect when ready. When we got the burger we showed our receipt and the lady gave us chips as well so assumed it came with the burger. La Place once was a trendy and comfortable place for coffee with a choice of cakes, or for lunch with your colleagues or friends. Food was fresh, delicious and reasonably priced! Those were the days!!!! Now: quite messy, tables aren't cleaned, staff/service low unmotivated ones with no sence of customer friendly service, and the food quality is on the cheap side. Mass production or simply tasteless. Today I had a look at the vegetables and the broccoli the picture says it all. Yellowish over cooked, if you can call it 🥦 ill say the stem of the broccoli!!!!
