We just wanted a simple salad and sandwich for light lunch after walking around the city, doing what tourists do. Its a nice place to take a quick lunch break. Friendly service and good food. Warm ham sandwiches and tuna salad.

We had the falafel salad and the entry falafel with hummus. It was extremely untasty. Falafels did not taste like falafels at all, they were very greasy hummus was very salty and industrial. Also, the salad was messy in the plate. We don’t recommend this place for food. When asked if we were satisfied, we told them our complaint. After some back and forth, they offered to take the salad off the bill –which we appreciated– but also made clear that they are happy with their quality and will not seek improvement. So not quite an incentive to go there again.

Nice atmosphere in the summer, service was really good. Food was quite bad. 30 EUR for a 150-200g well done steak (not medium rare as I requested) is almost unacceptable. Food’s already expensive and then I get something that’s not worth my money. Disappointed.

I’m posting this review months later because I’m no longer in Den Haag and have thought about this restaurant every week since last December lol. The freshness of ingredients, the quality of the bread, the flavor on that Indonesian chicken. I miss it!
