This restaurant feels like something like a hotel breakfast buffet. Jokes aside, this restaurant is known for their pancakes! They have about 20 different options, as well as a “pancake of the day”, for ours it was a pancake with strawberries and whipped cream. I also tried the banana, Nutella and whipped cream and it was a very sweet one too! The pancake with bacon, cheese and onions do not disappoint too, and the taste feels something like a pizza. The place is quite good with an outdoor seating. Its a self- service system. They had soup, pastries, fruits, fresh fruit juice(orange), pancake could be ordered at the counter. We took pumpkin soup and pancake woth stroopwafel, honey and whipped cream. Both were quite good. In case you are sensitive to the smell or eggs or don't eat eggs then avoid pancakes.

We went there around 11–12. It was calm, and it didn’t take too long for us to get our food. The staff were really friendly and spoke good English, and the reward of seeing the windmills with a full stomach from Dutch pancakes afterward was the best.

We had breakfast at Restaurant De Kraai and tried the bacon & cheese pancake and the honey cream pancake — both were absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was lovely, and our daughter had a great time playing and watching the ducks nearby, which made the experience even more special for our family. A wonderful stop in Zaanse Schans 😊
