Good portions and good taste. Too bad we were seated quite uncomfortably on a corner table, but we managed to have a nice evening. Awesome cheesecake and a very nice appetizer mixed dish.

I liked the atmosphere very much: it's a typical pub full of corky decorative elements which makes it quite peculiar. The low lights help the atmosphere. Food wise, it was ok: the chicken sautee we had for lunch is a fairly safe bet. This one was cooked properly, and the peanut sauce was creamy and luscious. Pity for the lack of seasoning. There's a good selection of beers.

The Old Pal really does welcome you like an old pal. It has a nice cozy pub feel to it, with ambient lighting and wooden details. We walked in with 4 of us without a reservation on a Sunday night and this was not a problem. The foods here surprised us in its quality. It is standard pub fare, but certainly done well. Service was friendly and pretty standard. No complaints. We had a nice time here and the atmosphere does sort of invite you to hang around and have a few beers. There's a good chance we'll be back.

This place has a very relaxed atmosphere and is very inviting to either have a drink or grab some food as well. The food itself was amazing, spareribs never miss. A fun surprise as socialdeal customers is that the Dudok apple pie was included in the deal. I would also recommend having at least one of their homemade beer called the Old Pal Gold.
