Hashtag Cafe & Bar is a cozy restaurant, lounge & relaxation spot in Wuse, that is neither hidden nor outrightly visible. Located in Mambolo Street in Wuse 2, it is about 600 meters away from Sultan Abubarka Way on one direction & 600 meters to Olu Obasanjo Way on the opposite direction. It is located on the ground floor shopping plaza which also hosts other businesses. The place doesn't shout at you as it is not a stand alone structure & not designed so. There is noticeable ingenuity in the arrangement of the furniture, equipment, disco lights, paintings & other forms of decorations/entertainment. Without doubt, I love the vibes, layout, simple furniture & ambience of the place. The Cafe & Bar has an extensive array of delicious exotic local & international meals available. These are prepared on patrons orders (alarcarte) & are thus served hot. The grilled fish is not bad to say the least. The 2 bars are also impressive with a wide range of spirits & wines on display. I visited Hashtag based on a recommendation, and I loved it. The restaurant has both an inner and outer space, each with nice decor. I chose to sit in the outer area, which I preferred. The music was enjoyable and added to the ambiance. However, the food truly stole the show. I ordered grilled lamb and yam chips, which were delicious and filling, and the price point was reasonable. I also appreciated that the other patrons seemed mature, so there was no crazy crowd. The service was prompt and attentive. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely visit again.

A very lovely lounge to hangout with friends. Although not recommended for dinner dates, because of the loud music, but highly recommended for grooving and jolly good time. The food is fantastic and well cooked. The staffs are very well trained and professional; always cheerful and friendly. And the DJ is is on point and friendly too: Restroom is very clean and decent. It’s place you can have your birthday party and more. The ambience is great too.

Well I love the atmosphere, music and the fact that it's a no smoking lounge. The food was really bad, we ordered grilled catfish and it felt like smoked fish with no marinating, rather than make really spicy sauce one dead stew with very irritating onions with no taste. The grilled fish and chips were so so cold, when we complained the server's reaction was unbelievable. Customer Service very very bad, I honestly think all the staff need training and I would volunteer to do that training for free, they all need to learn to talk to customers and also communicate things well. I hope the management gets to see this. (My visit was on the 20th of June) and my experience was bad but the music made up for it tho. In all it's a good place to chill.
