We visited Zaiqa Restaurant Today for dinner. Ordered Dumra Fried Fish 4.5 kg which was enough for the six of us. One friend joined later. The fish were well fried and had a good taste not much spicy but fine crispy flavors. We had to wait about 40 minutes for the dish. Atmosphere was cool, neat and tidy. Service was great but the tax was 10% which was high. Separate spaces were available for family members. Large Parking space was also there. My experience at Zaiqa Restaurant was extremely disappointing and far below expectations. After placing our order, we were made to wait 1 hour and 35 minutes, which is unacceptable for any dining place. During this long wait, the environment was far from comfortable , several people around us were smoking inside the hall, talking loudly, and creating constant noise, which completely ruined the dining atmosphere. When we repeatedly asked for updates, we were told that they cook a large batch of mutton karahi at once and serve everyone from the same pot, meaning there is no customization of taste or freshness. As for the food quality, it was very poor: The dishes had no flavour or aroma. The naan were extremely hard. The chutney was barely recognizable. Their so-called signature Kabuli Pulao was the opposite of what one would expect , bland and unimpressive, and that too without beef. The karhayi was extremly good. Waiting time a little longer but its better to place order while you are on way or shopping in HBK. The thing that disaappinted me that they do not have card payment service as i had a credit card, i have to go through long process of transferring amount to them theough eazypesa and we shown him confirmation of amount sent and deduction from our app but for some reasons they did not receive confirmation and we waited for a hour. Finally we hardly assured them that if its not transferred you can have our details and we left our contact details and went. Its 2026 and they do not have card payment machine which even disturbs the budget and also waste of time. So i do not recommend it to customers who want pay by card and specially credit card And

Very disappointing food quality. We ordered a takeaway with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The food handling did not appear to be hygienic, which was concerning. The biggest issue was the mutton barbecue. We specifically requested extra tender meat, but it turned out to be the exact opposite—very hard and difficult to eat. Overall, this was a waste of money, and based on this experience, we won't be ordering again.

Very rude people to deal with. I was choosing the meat, they were making fun of me that why i take so much to choose meat for my karayi. Also i think they intentionally cooked a BIG piece in the pan, because I argued with them that it is my right to choose the meat no matter what? I have never seen this big piece in karayi by the way. I wouldn’t recommend spending money in this kind of place where they don’t value their customers.
