A very nice fine dine restaurant that aced every single item that was ordered. The experience was really nice especially when arrived late on a weekend night. For starters the Spinach and Artichoke Dip was very rich and creamy paired with the garlic bread. In burgers ordered The Fat Man which was so full of flavor and the patty melted in mouth. The Confit Chicken was a 24 hour roasted dish that was extremely well prepared and had the tenderness. The Tarragon Chicken, Cashew Nut Chicken were all really well prepared, perfectly cooked, and well served. The staff were very pleasant, helpful, and guided on the best way. The menu is quite big and has plenty of vegetarian options available. The ambiance though was a bit too dark and required cell phone torch to see the menu. The restaurant has seating on two floors, ground and basement accessible by stairs only. Parking in this location is normally possible by Valet only. We sit in a basement it was a bit dark and gave sheesha cafe vibes. A guy was smoking in the basement, nobody ask him to quit smoking in a restaurant. 2 waiters were standing near our table which makes my wife uncomfortable. The group of guys sat next to our table were abusing each other loudly. It doesn’t seem like a restaurant. Food was good but rice portion for each main course isn’t good. Quantity of rice is low. Restaurant is also overpriced.

The food at Koya is good and well-prepared, and the service is efficient and courteous. However, the ambience is a major drawback. The lighting is extremely dim—so low that it becomes uncomfortable to eat and actually takes away from the dining experience. Good food and service can’t fully compensate for an environment where you can barely see your meal. If they fix the lighting, the place would be far more enjoyable.

I recently had dinner at Koya Restaurant, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The ambiance is truly amazing, elegant, cozy, and perfect for a nice dining experience. The staff is polite, humble, and professional, which really adds to the atmosphere. I ordered dumplings, which were delicious and flavorful, and a soup that was just average, I feel they should add more chicken since the portion was quite small. The smash burger was loaded with sauces, and the bun was soft and fresh, making it quite enjoyable. For the main course, I tried the Mongolian chicken with boiled rice, which turned out to be the highlight of the meal, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I also had the Electric Blue drink, which was refreshing and nicely balanced. However, one downside is that the portion sizes are quite small compared to their prices, which are on the higher side.
