I am a frequent visitor and usually love the food, the ambience and everything, but this time I tried a dish again after a very long while and sadly I was greatly disappointed. I ordered risotto yesterday and while the grilled chicken on the plate was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, the real disappointment was the so called “risotto.” What was served was a tightly packed mound of orange rice that was dry, spicy, and lacked the creamy, velvety texture that defines a true risotto. There was no richness from slow-cooked broth or the slight bite of properly cooked arborio rice, just dry, overcooked grains stuck together. This might pass as spiced rice, but calling it risotto is misleading to anyone familiar with the dish. It’s a shame, because the chicken had great potential to be part of a standout plate. Great Food, Reasonable prices, Very cheesy and cozy For all your ring around the Rosie. The taste of the steaks are amazing and the cheese is top notch. A few items might seem a Good enough But the chicken and steak are all great and a must try. Not a huge seating area so if you have a large noisy group then everyone gets disturbed but that's not the Venues problem so if you go here be mindful of others. 🎉
