I am so thrilled we discovered Lampara while searching for places to dine in Poblacion. I hadn’t heard of it before, but after our visit, I was completely enchanted. I later learned it’s a Michelin Bib Gourmand, and it truly earns that accolade. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and inviting, with stunning artwork and a modern yet relaxed vibe. The servers were exceptionally knowledgeable and gave us perfect suggestions. We absolutely loved the beef dishes, and the croquettes we tried were simply exquisite. The steak was a standout as well. I wholeheartedly recommend Lampara, you have to visit soon. They also offer an impressive range of drinks, though we didn’t partake, and we still adored the atmosphere. Even without a reservation, the staff were so gracious, they gave us a lovely table, despite our walk-in. It was such a thoughtful touch, and I can’t wait to return. Lampara is truly a shining gem in Poblacion!

It was an experience! This is my third time here at Lampara because I keep coming back for the Croquetas which are an absolute bomb! Hihi. Situated along the narrow roads of Enriquez Street in Poblacion, the place has slightly steep and narrow stairs going up to the second floor. Better to have a reservation prior since they have limited tables and seats, and they tend to get full most of the time. Service staff were top-notch — fast, polite, accommodating, and all smiles. Loved the mood lighting as well, plus they also have balcony seating for those who prefer dining outside. Loved the food and drinks overall. Croquetas — easy 5/5 ✨ Chicken — 3.5/5, the sauce was definitely value-adding. Soft Shell Crab — 3.5/5, really soft and enjoyable. They also offer mocktails for Muslims, which were decent and refreshing. Will definitely be back. :)

First time in Poblacion and got to see the culinary side of Makati. Even got the to eat at a Michellin resto! Lampara is a hole-in-the-wall resto lit with an unexplainable vibe that just gets people attracted to. I'm sure its not just the relaxing atmos but of course the awesome food! The pics can't describe mouth watering savory taste so highly recommend going here and trying it yourself. My very favorite so far was the dinuckdacan (ilocano recipe using duck), chicaron bulaklak with tamarind sauce, kurobota pork chop (so soft and juicy!!), and pork belly. Got to try the tres leches my wife loved so much as well. I wasnt able to take a pic of their drinks menu but i tried the Gasera and that just fired me up :) great resto and do try it out when your around Poblacion!

The food was immaculate. For starters, we had the rice cups, croquettes, and dinakdakan, and everything was unreal. For the mains, we ordered the oxtail and pork, which were just as perfect. We also had the strawberry lychee and mango ginger drinks, and the mango ginger was seriously eye opening. We ended with a dark chocolate dessert that wrapped the whole dinner perfectly. The staff were so nice and our server treated us like we owned the place. The interiors were perfect. It was just a bit expensive, but honestly worth it.

Though not quite at Michelin level, this cozy upstairs restaurant does modern Filipino food extremely well and at reasonable prices. You won't wait long, as the food comes out pretty quickly, and everything we had was tasty, including the pulpo (octopus) tapa, the croquetas de queso with carolina reaper honey, and I really enjoyed my squid ink glass noodles with a whole deep fried soft shell crab. We also tried their 'dinuckdakan,' a play on dinuguan I think, with shredded duck and fried egg, and their laing. For the price point, this was extremely satisfying and worth a repeat visit. There's also free wifi. Not recommended for folks with mobility or accessibility issues, as the only way in is a narrow staircase, and some of the tables are difficult to maneuver around.

Wonderful experience! This is where my partner and I had our first date. We had to recreate it a year after and it still did not disappoint. They seated us on the same seats we first dated last year ago. The food is delicious! They even wrote happy anniversary on our dessert and even asked us for our theme song so they could play it while we were eating. The owner also went and talked to us to make sure everything is okay. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will be back! 🥰
