Dined at Ombu Kusina with my mom and sister, and we had a wonderful experience. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our visit. The food was excellent. We ordered the Triple Cheese Pizza, Tuna Sisig, Liempo, and Carbonara, and every dish was delicious and well-prepared. To finish our meal, we had the Frozen Brazo, which was the perfect dessert and a great way to end the experience. The restaurant was also clean and well-maintained, including the restrooms, which we appreciated. Overall, everything was great, and we look forward to coming back. Highly recommended.

All the dishes were cooked to perfection — flavorful without being too salty. • Bangus Sisig: Absolutely no lansa! A clean, tasty take on a classic. • Ombu Chicken: Two pieces of chicken fillet, perfectly seasoned and fried just right. It comes with atchara, which pairs beautifully with the crispy chicken. • Crunchy Tadyang: Boiled in special spices then fried to perfection. Very meaty and satisfying! • Seafood Kare-Kare: Slightly on the sweet side, but still packed with really good flavor. • Frozen Brazo de Mercedes: Not too sweet — just perfect! Service: Excellent service by Jason — very warm and attentive throughout our meal. Overall, we had a great dining experience. Highly recommended!

Very nice place tucked away with only a small number of customers when we visited, which made the experience feel relaxed and cozy. The restaurant is located under a hotel, giving it a quiet and low-key atmosphere—great if you prefer dining somewhere calm and unhurried. Service was pleasant and attentive without being intrusive, which added to the overall comfort of the visit. The food was generally good, with flavors that were satisfying overall. Some dishes leaned a bit on the salty side, but they were still enjoyable and well prepared. The kare-kare stood out among what we ordered in a balanced way. It was above average and competently done, with a decent peanut sauce and well-cooked components. It may not be the best kare-kare out there, but it was flavorful, comforting, and easily one of the better dishes on the table. Portion sizes were reasonable, and the food was served promptly. Presentation was exquisite—thoughtful, polished, and visually appealing without feeling overdone. E

Had a really satisfying brunch today at Ombu Kusina. Their coffee was freshly brewed—rich, smooth, and not bitter at all, which is honestly rare to find. Perfect start to the meal. We also tried the Crispy Tadyang, and the serving was surprisingly generous—definitely good for 2 to 3 people. Flavor-wise, it did not disappoint. Well-seasoned and satisfying. The sausage and omelette? Absolutely to die for. Simple dishes done really well. And the best part—they’re pet friendly 🐾 Always a big plus for me. Overall, great food, good portions, and a welcoming vibe. Definitely worth coming back to.

We didn’t order much—just enough for us. The crispy pata was really good, though a bit on the pricier side (like most of the dishes), but still worth trying. The binakol was light and comforting, and the free soup refill made it even better. As for the kare-kare, the sauce really stood out—rich and flavorful—though the tripe could be improved in terms of how it was cooked. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience—simple, satisfying, and best enjoyed with good company.

The first time we tried to go, we couldn’t get in because it was a Saturday night and fully packed. On our second visit, also on a Saturday night, things went smoothly and the experience was good. In my opinion, it’s a bit pricey, but the food and ambiance make it worth it. Overall, Ombu Kusina is a nice place and definitely worth coming back to.

Ombu Kusina is an underated food establishment that deserves to be known. Serving crispy pata thats really ceisy and doesnt feel and leave any oily taste in your mouth. The dipping sauce is in another level. Ang sarap. We ordered the sinigang version and was not disappointed. Will try the super sinigang version next. Sisig pizza was also great. Would love to try the sardines pizza on our next visit. I basically finished the ensaladang talong...drizzling the dipping sauce of the crispy pata. Vibe was casual with plenty of families dining in on a Sunday lunch. Looking forward to our next visit. I cant wait.

We had our lunch here to celebrate the wedding of my sister in law. We tried their; Ombu Chicken, Tortang Talong, Sinigang na Baboy, Filipino Style Salad with Dilis and Salted Egg, Crispy Bangus with Papaya Salad, Salisbury Bistek Tagalog, Beef Kare Kare, Crispy Glazed Chicken and Bagnet Dinuguan. All delicious! I personally recommend their Bagnet Dinuguan and Salisbury Bistek Tagalog. Overall this restaurant is cozy and clean. Very accommodating staff as well. Kudos!
