“We always go here for the oyster sisig! Food here is good. A lot of their dishes are unique and can’t be found in any other Filipino restaurant. Their new pusit kare-kare is also a must try. 💯”
“We had 2 sets of pampagana and ulam. We also had some deserts. The rating I gave were based on my likings. Fried Oyster Sisig - 3/5 Boneless Lechon Belly - 5/5 Sizzling Beef Sinigang - 2/5 ( the natural sweet flavor of beef with gravy and sourness just not go well together) Deserts -5/5”
“My go-to Filipino comfort food. Whenever I have foreign visitors, I bring them here as the food’s good and it’s worth its price. My favorite is their sizzling sinigang. Yum! Will definitely be back!!”

Karen Clores★★★★Their sinigang has definitely improved since the last time I tried it a few years ago. The shrimp was plump and flavorful, and the bacon skewers were good too. The Turo-Turo Platter was also enjoyable. They do a great job when it comes to reinventing Filipino cuisine. If you prefer traditional Filipino food and want the classic flavors you’re used to, Locavore may not be for you. But if you’re open to an adventure and eager to try creative takes on familiar dishes, then this place is definitely worth a visit. babalik paaa

Hwelen Young★★★We dined at Locavore for convenience, as we lived right across the street. It was an okay experience. The food was average; some dishes were even too sweet for us. The service was much better than the food. I also gave three stars for the atmosphere, because my husband was almost bitten to death by mosquitoes. The restaurant should have done something to prevent it from happening.
Pau de Silva★★★★★Been eating here at Locavore since way back 2016. Even if the price increases, I can say that the quality of the dishes are always consistent. We specifically ordered the Shrimp Con Mayonesa and Sizzling Sinigang, which we’ve been our default order ever since. We also tried the turon con leche and it was so good. This particular branch does not allow pets inside the restaurant. You have to sit outside (alfresco area) if you have your furbaby with you, which is a bit of a downer as it was quite humid staying outdoors.

Jeremy Writing Things★★★★★The thing I remember is Locavore’ duck Lugaw I hate Locavore’s menu—especially on dates. It reads like a curated list of bad decisions. Every dish engineered to trigger FOMO, every portion sized to dismantle whatever performative restraint Manila likes to cosplay as discipline, because you don’t come here for that. But you know the type—“we’ll just order light,” followed by three mains, two rice dishes, and a quiet agreement not to mention it again. Locavore doesn’t fight that instinct. It exploits it. The Duck Lugaw is the thesis. Take something humble, almost medicinal in its intent, and push it to its most indulgent conclusion. Silkier, richer, deeper—every spoonful feels like it was designed to win you immediately, not convince you over time. It doesn’t ask for nostalgia, it overrides it. And that’s how they operate. Every Filipino dish here feels like the most luxurious, most extra version of itself. Familiar, but turned up just past the point of reason. The kind of cooking that
