Amazing! So far the best meal in Portugal. The Octupus risotto was a 10/10. Our table also enjoyed the Tenderloin Risotto and the lime shrimp risotto and the duck. The Nata deu was delicious. The scrambled egg and bao appetizers were great and so was the dry full bodies reserve wind that was suggested to us. The staff was also wonderful. A not to miss in Aviero.

I would definitely recommend this place to my friends visiting Aveiro!Everything was perfect! • Service: Especially Daniel, he gave us so much attention and made us feel very welcome. • Food quality: The steak entrecôte for two, served with rice and vegetables, was absolutely delicious. The kids’ menu was generous and well thought out, including vegetable soup, half a dorada fish, a side dish, and ice cream. • Dessert was fantastic! I also attached pictures of the entrecôte steak.

What an unforgettable experience at O Barrio! Easily the best meal I’ve had in Portugal. ❤️ Every dish was a revelation — the seaweed starter and the scrambled eggs with truffles were already extraordinary, but the risotto with tenderloin, red wine jus and truffles was on another level entirely. Pure heaven. 🙃 And the finale: caramel ice cream with pop rocks — playful, surprising, and unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. A meal that stays with you. 💥 Highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience Portuguese cuisine at its most creative and refined.
