We love R Cafe and go every week. They have a variety of tasty burgers, cold beer and food specials like their excellent tomato rice. Its a popular night spot too but plenty to offer during the lunch hours, especially out on the esplanada on a nice day

Amazing service and a clean place. Offers a good array of beers but prices aren't the lowest in town just so you know at the same time they are fair and the Café is open till late hours which is great. Would recommend!

We were served by a lady of at least 85 years old. When we ordered a beer and sparkling water (in Portuguese coz she certainly looked like she didn't speak English) she looked at us with a frown and a couple of minutes came back with 2 mini (20 cl beers) and a 33 cl of water. A 20 cl beer sets you back 80 cents, a still water of 33 cl costs 1,15 euro. When we wanted to pay we had to carry the bottles inside coz the lady seemed a bit forgetful.
