The food was amazing, that I can't deny. The problem was the service. We were 5 people and I made a reservation through Google. We arrived 3 minutes before and they didn't have a table ready for us. We were fine with it because they promptly got us a table. We requested a dim sum entree to share. We also ordered 3 baos, one pho and one fried rice. The dim sum came 20 minutes after ordering. Boa-Bao is a legitimate diamond for Asian food in the city of Porto. The staff is friendly and helpful providing insight and favourites. I was lucky enough to sit near the chef and his kitchen staff. The team cooked through the dinner rush with great execution maintaining everything clean and in order. The team was always engaging with us as we ate. The food was 10/10. Great tasting Asian dishes. The pecking duck, crispy shrimp and crispy chicken boas were all great. The green curry stole the show, the curry was thick with a coconut flavour and spice. We had booked here for Mother's day lunch. My son had gone previously and highly recommend this restaurant. The staff were curtious, and the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered 3 starters and 2 main meals for 3 of us. It was more than enough. We would definitely return here. Must book before as it gets very busy.

This place was nice I loved the interior and ambiance, we came at 9:30pm, I have heard good things about this place I can see why but I think I was extremely disappointed in the bao buns as its literally in the name there was one tiny piece of pork on the bun I’ve had way better in australia also to add they were 9 euro (absolutely outrageous you only get one). The massaman curry was lacking flavour and thickness it was quite watery, the pad thai was nice though I think that was authentic but could be better. Drinks were good I got the Kpop club and my partner got apple jack.
