O Marquês in Lisboa was exactly what we were looking for. A traditional, home-cooked meal vibe with amazing food and such a welcoming atmosphere. We had dourada na brasa with house white wine, and everything was simple, fresh, and delicious. One of those spots that makes you feel like you found a true local favourite.

A hidden gem in the middle of a touristy area; tasty local food for reasonable prices. We had grilled pork and hack with some salad, and baked apple for dessert and were happy with our choices. The waiter didn't speak English, but he was very helpful. Highly recommend the place.

We found this restaurant through reviews and it lived up to the stars!!! The waiter recommended the fried cod with onions and the Portuguese steak. We got both and were not disappointed! The house dessert (chocolate and caramel mouse) and the biscuit cake round out the meal. Enjoyed our visit!

We went to this local restaurant just behind the National Theatre in Lisbon on a Monday night and it was very good. The owner has run this restaurant for 30 years. He is a tram and bus enthusiast so this small restaurant had loads of atmosphere. There is a good mix of locals and tourists who want to have a really good meal at a very good price with great service. I highly recommend it to you.
