We ate here recently and had a first class experience. The restaurant itself is a popular neighbourhood eatery, attracting workers and locals. It's always a good sign when a place is full of locals! There wasn't a table available when we arrived , but we were invited to wait and given the menu to peruse. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. The food is tasty, homely and nicely presented. It's also great value. There's a good choice of wines and homemade desserts also. Definitely recommend 👌

Great restaurant family style. I had the famous francesinha sandwich and it was amazing. Do not know if as good or better than eating in Porto. It was a huge portion. I knew was big so I did not have lunch. I recommend you save space to eat the whole thing or get 1/2 portion. Personnel were very helpful and friendly. I wish I had discovered this place before. It is a it outside of downtown and tourist zone. Is definitely worth it. You can get very close using the metro from the city center

The waiters were nice and ours was particularly funny. The place was packed and people were waiting outside for a table. The food is affordable, the dishes beautiful, tasty and humble. If you want to eat Portugese food as a tourist and can get a spot, I recomment the octopus and the grilled squid. Definitely a local gem.
