In a sea port famous for fish with everything, this was a haven for meat eaters. Fabulous service and amazing food with excellent value too. We had the “Black pig” and “Small Pork” which were both fantastic. Fresh chips (as in English chips) and meat chargrilled to perfection. How the small pork was classed as small I don’t know. Black Pig came with slices of orange and kiwi. Didn’t expect that. Just €34 including 2 bottles of cider. We ran out of time but had our eye on the chocolate mousse which looked quite theatrical- you get 4 toppings to try it with: salt, pepper, some sort of oil and

Dinner on a Sunday night isn't supposed to be this good. Great food, great service, knowledgeable staff all at very reasonable prices for the quality lead this place to be a rare gem where most places cater to the visiting tourist. Highly recommend the special white wine sangria with lime and undertones of passion fruit. Will definitely visit again and hopefully for many years to come.

Great food and service!! The owner was super helpful suggesting gluten free options for us. Very helpful! We had corn flour crusted cuttlefish, shrimp done in a garlic, white wine, cilantro sauce and roasted green peppers. We loved everything! Follow-up: they now have all gluten free items marked on their menu. There is a lot of choices.
