Nice first meal experience in Viseu just after the arrival. The ambience is like a local dining place filled with locals and repeated customers, yet welcoming to travelers. Staffs are efficient and friendly too. The price is fairly cheap considering its volume. Nice place for quick meaty lunch or dinner.

The food was not to my taste , me and my mom both asked for " alheira" they were horrible , the rice has no taste, the chips are frozen, the salad is not seasoned and the waiter will tell you " to wait" not "to wait PLEASE", JUST RUDELY WAIT when you ask for some mayo or ketchup and salt while he is looking at the chef to cook something else. pay attention to the drinks because they will give u an alternative drink if there is not what you asked without conaulting you. Nice spot to sit outside and eat. We ordered a hamburger and fries for 3.90 and a dish with fries, rice and squid 6.90 and 1 Pepsi. We had to pay 16.90 (?). The waiter gave us a starter first which we did not ask for. When we were eating we asked for a mayonnaise to go with my fries, because only the other plate got a cup. The waiter grabbed the cup (?) and was mad we asked for another cup. He filled up the first one and came back to almost throw it on our table after he cleaned up some other tables first. He was rude and we think we paid too much for 1 Pepsi (6.10?)

There are no vegetarian options. I chose the only picture that looked like it doesn't have meat, even the description said it only has egg, bread and fries and it still had meat. The bread was hard, fries and sauce were incredibly oily. No drink menu and no prices for the drinks shown. Terrible pop music in the background and the staff doesn't speak English. The forks were dirty and the waiter seemed very angry, he even dropped a bottle on the ground. They give you a snack you never asked for and add it to your tab.
