Stumbled upon this cafe when I was looking for shio pan. They only sell that on Thurs and weekends, and sell out fast. It was already OOS at 2pm. I had a mint tea instead to control my caffeine intake. The tea was really refreshing especially in a hot day. Though it’s packed with a of folks working nearby, the vibe is still pretty chill.

We were looking for a nearby place for coffee and came across this café on Google Maps. As I prefer to avoid caffeine in the afternoon, I was pleased to see iced herbal tea on the menu. I had the tiger mint, while another friend ordered the lychee oolong—both were refreshing and well balanced. Our other friend enjoyed the coffee and commented that it was very good. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and were fortunate to find just enough seats, as it is a small café and quite lively at that time.

Cute little coffee shop near to Bugis. Pass by often but never knew this existed as its tucked away in a small lane. Seating is available though with a mix of tables and bar seating. Ordered a couple of coffees and I lover my hot white. Cost me SGD 12.50 for both and well worth it. They even have some delectable looking sugary treats though I will leave that for another visit. They have a strange 48 minute time limit for dining, though not sure what the logic for that is.

Edit Nov 25: Went back and didn't see the Otto, so we got the Kuri to try instead. This wasn't as nice, it was a bit too sweet. I alao felt that the cream layer was a bit too thick and the chestnut layer could be pureed smoother. Service was still great though! Aug 25: Had tried this once before when they were still at Jurong, and I remember I enjoyed it very much back then. I was delighted after they moved to Middle Road, as their current location is much more convenient. Overall, the quality of their desserts is still high, and is definitely a good place to go to for afternoon tea! Here's what we tried: • Otto: This was my favourite, it tasted as good as it looked. The pistachio taste was really fragrant, and I finished all the cream even though I'm usually not a big fan of it. I loved how light this dessert was, I didn't feel jelak at all from this. • Tart: I personally enjoyed this, but I must warn those who have a low tolerance for sour treats, this might be a tad bit too sour f

This was a beautiful cafe. We tried their chai latte and espresso tonic. Chai was excellent, but I wasn't a big fan of the espresso tonic. We had a great time here as the vibe inside felt like a bar more than a coffee shop. I suggest sitting in front of the barista so you can see how drinks are made.
