I went for a poetry event. The event was great. Book Bar has the right vibes to attract creative sophisticated people. Good wine, good beer, and most of all good selection of Singapore literature. If you are a tourist, I can tell you this is probably the best place to find out about the Sg literary scene.

really nice and cozy bookstore with a good selection of books 🤍 there’s also a cafe area where you can sit down and read, which i loved. only thing is it can get a little noisy at times because people were having conversations quite loudly, so it wasn’t the most conducive for focused reading. would honestly love if there was a small “keep voices low” culture so everyone could enjoy a quieter reading environment :)

A quaint cozy little cafe that is also a book store. Practically a book haven for avid readers like me . It contains so many book especially focussing on Singaporean writers and authors. The cafe also offers for customers to use the SG Culture Pass for certain books which is a major bonus making Sing Lit more accessible . The ambience is great, very cozy and quiet with many customers cozying up with a book and a hot cup of coffee that warms the body and soul. Their hot chocolate also is pretty good not too sweet yet hits the right spot.
