Las geel is a top tier rated restaurant in hargeisa. My father, my brother and i decided to sit down and have their breakfast. We ordered egg croissants, somali tea and capuccino. The food was very delicious and the ambience was great. I would also like to thank Marwan and the staff for the great service and assitance in making the coffee to my dad's liking. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back soon.

This cafe is one of the city's top quality and fancy cafes. This time I only tried coffee and dessert, cappuccino and tiramisu. There are also various food dishes available. The customer service was very good, although it took a while to get my orders, but nothing too bad. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, although there are a lot of customers and also locals visit this place, which is of course a good sign usually for a tourist. The pricing is in line with other similar slightly more expensive and nice cafes/restaurants. I can recommend the place!

This is my second time visiting Café Laasgeel. We are visiting from Djibouti, and we cannot believe how perfectly they’ve made the Ambaabur, notre plat national djiboutien. Once again, I had the best Penne Bolognese I have ever tasted. Absolument délicieux. Allahumma barik.

One of my favourites in Hargeisa. High-end food that includes western food, but also includes a few local items, which I appreciated. I had the beef madras, the coconut fish curry, and a chocolate milkshake during the two times that I went there. Prices are high but you get what you pay for, and you get better than what you will pay for at similar restaurants in the city. Service from the wait staff is above average, but the kind lady behind the counter that manages payments is really nice. I also appreciated that somebody who seemed like the manager came around and checked how the food was and if everything was fine. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed, lighting is appropriately dim, and the toilets are clean and have toilet paper.

Went there few times and we have been frustrated by the service ever single time!!! The take their sweet time to take your order and the same with the food. However they are quick at serving you your tea with means that the time you get your breakfast the tea is finished or cold!! And if your enjoy meatless suqar please go to Laas Geel!
