So... English visitors in La Coruña, sailed into town aboard a cruise ship. Don't bother going early as many shops/bars etc don't open until lunchtime...however my dad wanted to take us to this restaurant he'd been to once before a long time ago. Website said open at 12pm, informed by surly staff it opened at 1pm. We return. My fellow diners enjoyed their food (alot of reviews say the food here is not fresh). I did not. The wine was lovely, the staff awful. I believe the owner has a reputation for being rude and he didn't disappoint. Avoid.

Visited in September 2025 Selected a 1 star but if I could give a negative review I would. The owner ? Was unbelievably rude even though my son spoke to him in Spanish. We left before ordering as he made it clear that he didn’t want our custom. There was hardly anyone else in the restaurant. Reading other reviews ours was not the only experience of awful customer service. Ended up at a much better restaurant just across the street where the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Obviously I will also leave a review for that restaurant.

We had a parrillada de pescado, which was very generous and very tasty. Javi is a VERY nice guy, at the end he offered a licor de hierba. Highly recommended. Be nice to people, it always reflects back to you. 😍
