Not only did we have to wait 40 minutes for them to take our drinks order, the food was really bad. We ordered Judías, Provolone and Cachopo. I have never in my life had a worse Cachopo, it was like battered like they do fish and chips in the UK !!!! And the worst part were the chips. The oil had been cooked in too much and it tasted awful. I understand that they need to recover from the bad times we’ve experienced, but it’s better to have fewer tables and better quality then 20 tables, 1 waitress and complete disorder.

After reading the positive reviews, I decided to eat here. I took several seafood dishes. The result is great disappointment and severe heartburn. The freshness of the food is a big question. Patatas bravas was dry and corny. The signature Pulpo gallego was just a microwave-heated octopus bought at the nearest supermarket, even without the obligatory in this case potatoes. The deep-fried fish was only good for taking out as a doggy bag to feed the peacocks in the beautiful Jardín de la Isla. I just add 1 star for nice and fast service.

Casa Navarro is a lovely place to eat. A lovely quiet street, great food(cancamusas a fab pork stew) lovely service, and staff,good local wine and less than 20 euros. Really enjoyed it
