Caelum feels like it should be a sure thing the moment you see the window. The display alone could stop you mid-stride, tiered trays packed with pastries that look more curated than stocked. Inside, the concept is what draws you in. Many of the sweets are inspired by traditional recipes from monasteries and convents across Spain, which gives the menu a slightly old-world, almost devotional feel. I totally recommend. Beautiful Boutique great service very pleasant diverse delicious, and good looking pastries with options of gluten-free and vegan lactose free as well. The prices are reasonable and the place is clean. You even have a gift shop with edible and not edible local products

Sells pastries and sweets made by nuns, monks and convents/monasteries across Spain. The place is quite unique built on top of Roman ruins. Went for a Fig cheese cake (one of their cakes of the day). It was really good. They also have Crème Catalana. Drinks I tried Todiefor: Granadina's juice, orange flowers and cava Muller. It was quite refreshing drink.

I was passing by and came across Caelum, so I decided to give it a try. The hot chocolate wasn’t to my taste—I’ve had much better elsewhere. Maybe it wasn’t the best choice or it’s simply a different style than what I’m used to, so I’d recommend trying it yourself and forming your own opinion. The dessert was okay—not the best I’ve had, but it’s worth visiting as another experience.
