I take every guest who visits me to Salterio, and I've been here countless times over the last 4 years. Every single visit has been an absolute and unique pleasure. Their teas, coffees, and olives are fantastic, but their eggplant and tahini specialty (the incredible flatbread dish in my photos) is simply out of this world! The cozy, authentic, and low-lit atmosphere makes the experience even more special. It is my heartfelt recommendation to anyone visiting Barcelona, you definitely have to check this gem out!

Walking through the dark, narrow streets of the Gothic Quarter, we came upon the alluring Salterio Tea House, located in a quaint Medieval building with divine aromas wafting out of the front door, drawing us in. Stumbled upon this place while exploring the city. The ambiance is so nice and relaxing. We sat at the bar and it wad wonderful to watch the staff prepare the food and drinks. Food was amazing as well as the many tea options. I really recommend this place if you are in the Gothic quarter.

Sardo with mushrooms, cheese, tomato, spinal and onions. It was delicious! You can skip the hummus. Chips were good but actual hummus lacked salt. The olives were great.
