I was really perplexed why this café had such low ratings. 3.8 at the time of this review. There are two other cafés on the same corner and this one is definitely a cut above them. Beautiful decor, quite comfortable seating and great coffee. So I made a point of reading all the negative reviews. They were all jumping up and down over two things. Half complained about the hoards of students with laptops making the place their study room. I looked around and saw not one single student with a laptop. The others were about the place only serving coffee in paper cups. I can sort of sympathize, but

Insane that this place has such low reviews. It’s so nice! Great coffee, loads of seating. Lots of chargers, good place to come and sit on your laptop or read for a bit. And very friendly service. I recommend!

The hotel shares the lobby with Letoh Letoh hotel. It has plenty of seats inside though a lot of people seem to be on their laptops throughout the day. The coffee is top notch. Depending on the time of day, you may have to wait. They rotate the espresso of the day so you can try a variety of coffee profile. They have some pastries too. You come here for the coffee and WiFi.

Shocked that they only have 3.8 rating at the moment I visited. Hands down best coffee in Bilbao. Yes, there are a lot of students/flexworkers working on their laptops during the day, but I can imagine why. In a country where good coffee is not really appreciated as in northern European countries, it's great to sometimes encounter a high quality coffee place. And yes, they have a La Marzocco coffee machine!
