I had the pleasure of eating here this week (out on the terrace), I was dining as part of a very large group. I am so appreciative to the team, as though there weren't given a heads up, the quickly adapted items from our set menu to be safe for me as coeliac, with many tasty options and gluten free beer, and even bread with the starter! Ordered two steaks cooked to medium (expecting it to be rare to medium-rare), but they arrived completely uncooked. Genuinely, not sure they ever saw a pan. Sent back to request additional cooking. They returned uncooked again. Sent back a further two times to request that they were instead cooked 'well done'. Gave in after the third request, as the meat was still raw. The service was also not great, initially forgot one of our drinks, and then the attitude plummeted when asking for additional cooking. The building looks promising from the outside. Once you step in it doesn’t match the expectations. It looks a lot ‘cheaper’ with paper menu’s that weren’t very new any more. We ordered 3 salads and a rice dish. After ordering they brought a nice and clean tablecloth and Some bread (be aware they charge you for that, so if you don’t want to be charged refuse the bread). The salads arrived quite quickly but the rice didn’t arrive until we were finished with our salads. Salads were ok, but mostly greens, the salmon on the Mare Nostrum salad was a small portion. When we ordered paela the waiter said it would take 25 minutes. So we waited and got something that looked like paela but it was clearly out of an frozen pre-prepared bag or something. The mussels looked like the were artificial. We got Bread we did not asked for and we had to pay for it. After half an hour i was sick and had to run for a toilet. Also the arrogance of the older waiter with a beard is annoying…. There are many places better dan this, the only thing i reccomend is the view.
