A Taste of Home at La Rochela – Authentic Colombian Flavors in Madrid Someone recommended La Rochela, and after seeing the great reviews, we decided to give it a try — and it was absolutely worth it! The restaurant offers authentic Colombian dishes, and for us, living in Canada, it truly felt like finding a little treasure from home. One of my favorite restaurants in Madrid — not only because it serves authentic and delicious Colombian food (the best ajiaco in town and the tastiest dorada with patacones), but also because they make you feel at home. Pair your meal with a refreshing mango, lulo, guanábana, or guava juice, and don’t miss finishing with a tres leches or brevas con arequipe (figs with dulce de leche). If you are craving Colombian flavors, this is the place. Highly recommended!
