We'd like to start by saying that we are former residents of Spain so we know about customs etc..; we were on our way to Santander having visited friends in the south and stopped off in Cuenca for the evening. Our Spanish is fairly good, although a little rusty at times. Our hotel receptionist pointed us in the direction of where local bars and eateries were. We came upon this establishment. We had the set menu (€20.50) which we found expensive for the quantity and quality of the food. First, we had chicken and spinach lasagna (with hardly any spinach and raw almonds inside) and salmorejo. For the main course, we had pork cheeks with a rather mediocre sweet sauce. I don't recommend it and I don't think I'll be back. I think the prices are inflated and don't match the quality. The lasagna didn't even have béchamel sauce... anyway.
