We visited Bar Florencia for the first time to eat with some friends. It's a classic neighborhood bar, the kind where the decor seems stuck in the past: old-fashioned tables and chairs, old-fashioned bathroom doors, tiles, and decorations that haven't changed in years. In that respect, I think it could use a facelift, as it would be much better, especially since the food is good. That said, it was clean and well-maintained. Now, let's talk about the food, which was generally very well cooked. I recommend the Andalusian-style calamari; it was excellent. The meat, or fish in this case, the lamb

Friendly staff, both the waitress and the owner. There's not much to choose from, but the dishes are fantastic for a hearty lunch. The price is great. A homey place, highly recommended.

I've been a couple of times and seen a free table, but they wouldn't let me have dinner because of the owner. The waiter wanted to give me a table, but he came out and refused. The waiter even said, "Sorry, you said there were no tables," when there were. Very bad in the 21st century.
