We stopped by for a late lunch around 5 pm, and only tapas were available. The food was average overall. The octopus was fresh but lacked flavor, the nachos were too sweet due to a sweet sauce, and the pan con tomate was fine. The tortilla de patatas had good flavor but was burnt on the bottom. Service and ambience were good.

Sol Gastrobar in Girona is a cozy and stylish place with a relaxed atmosphere and very friendly service. The tapas were creative, fresh and full of flavor, and the portions were perfect for sharing. The staff were welcoming and spoke good English, which made everything easy. Prices were reasonable for the quality, and the location is just a short walk from the old town. We really enjoyed our meal here and would definitely come back again on our next visit to Girona.

Great little gastrobar, reasonably priced daily menu with great quality -price ratio...had duck's breast with squash Parmentier and a heavenly cheesecake...can also recommend the house red, a fruity, yet mellow local product. Set in a chill, green vibe under Girona's old town arcade.
