I was recommended this place by Reddit and it did not disappoint! Food was amazing, service was great (the owner was serving and he was so friendly + gave us a free pintxos and free wine sample!). Bring cash and it’s only bar seating, but still easy to chat. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Barcelona! Definitely not a tourist trap.

Such a treasure of a place in a fun neighborhood. Yummy Basque pinxos, each made by the owner with care. He doesn’t accept credit cards, but trust me, it’s worth finding a cash machine!

One of our favourite dinners in 4 weeks of travelling across multiple cities! The pintxos are the perfect size for trying multiple delicacies and each is full of incredible flavour. We loved everything we had but the Chorizo in cider and smoked salmon were favourites. Super well priced, intimate setting and very friendly/funny hosts. Only thing to note is it’s cash only, but there are ATMs close by so no problem at all. Thank you Gasterea for a 10/10 meal!

Best food we ate in Barcelona. Everything was delicious and came quickly. Everything is under 10 euros so you can explore lots of different dishes. Drinks were good and cheap. The owner is so kind and funny and accommodating!!! Definitely come here if you’re visiting Park Guell, it’s a short walk away. Bring cash!!
