We were all served by Mario, a fantastic waiter we had during our lunch. What a nice place, goes to my list of MUST-GO, and I’ll obviously recommend and come back when I’m in Leon.

We had dinner here with a tour group. The food was superb and the service was fast and friendly, even with a group of 29. We had a salad with a local goat cheese and a balasmic dressing that was wonderful, and a beef and potatoes dish with brown gravy. The beef was tender and the gravy was very flavorful. Their house brand wine was excellent. The flan and coffee to finish made for an great end to the dinner.

Very traditional restaurant and well worth a visit. Super friendly waiter who really looked after us, local produce, local dishes and local wine, what’s not to like?! The 12 hour roast lamb was amazing and carved at the table for some theatre. We went on a Thursday and it was super relaxed but a little quiet.

Come to Leon, and among other wonderful restaurants, don’t miss the fantastic Bodega Regia, to enjoy the best tradicional recipes. Lechazo, Sopas de Ajo, Lentejas con Torrezno, Rodaballo, Carrillera, Tarta de Castañas… Best service with Marcos and his team (Albino is our favorite!)
