Standard type bar on a square with an above average range of beers to choose from, including - what the beer lovers will be after - Conventico rubia from the local small brewer. Tapa were quite good, too, staff efficient and overall one of the better places I tried / saw in Melilla.

What a find. We chanced upon this lovely cafeteria to shelter from an impending squall after visiting the castle. Very friendly staff, excellent service and complementary tapas with each of the two rounds we had. Fantastic atmosphere in an authentic local cafe/bar.

The entricote was of very poor quality. The owner said he had never heard that before, I doubt it! If you want to flush your money down the toilet, eat here!

A nest of thieves. We asked for vino de la casa. They brought an uncorked and refilled bottle with a 'marquesa de caseres' label. When the bill arrived they tried to charge 31€. We refused to pay so much for what was obviously very cheap wine. After much arguing they reduced the price to 25.50€. Maybe ok here for locals but not for tourists.
