This is small not imposing restaurant in a typical Spanish Style but the staff are super friendly they don't speech much English but Google Translate certainly fixes that and the smell and the appreciation do you have tried to speak Spanish it's heartwarming the food is very much meat-based the steak was absolutely to die for and not particular expensive well worth visit.

I went in for the first time just for a drink & a snack. Both very enjoyable & a good price. Another group were eating something whilst I was there that smelt delicious. I left as I planned to eat elsewhere, but after walking around trying to decide where to eat, here or my original choice I came back here, drawn by the remembered smell of that earlier unidentified dish. Don Jamón is part of the modern history of Palencia, where the flavor of Castilla acquires a very special magic. It is an austere and simple restaurant, but it keeps the founding essence alive.
