I came for the tasting menu and wine pairing but I was only given the regular menu so I mistakenly presumed that the tasting menu was not being offered on a Monday evening. Halfway through my meal I heard the tasting menu being explained to the table next to me. I can only guess that the server assumed that since I was dining alone I would not be interested.
