We stopped by this restaurant on a whim as we were wondering about the city on a break from the Camino. We noticed that it was Michelin starred in the past and were curious. The mussels on their own that we had as an appetizer were delicious and then we discovered the tomato white wine sauce beneath was the actual star. We also got the pumpkin soup on this cold day which was very warming, hearty and thick. The pizza with goat cheese, ham and honey was perfectly balanced. Finally, to finish things off, we had an absolutely amazing lemon mousse and fruit champagne tiramisú.

We walk the Portuguese Camino and it lead us through Pontevedra. After tough walking we enter Il Piccolo and we were welcomed as honoured guests from foreign country 🥰

The lasagne was really, really good and served in a pan still sizzling. The service was top notch too, Jose was lovely and very good at his job. The restaurant was very nicely done with all tables set with tablecloths, cutlery and glassware.

We had lasagna, spaghetti alle vongole, pizza and calamares. The pasta is a little bit overcooked but taste was really good, so I would still give it 5 stars. For dessert we have the tiramisu and chocolate cake - we enjoyed it as well. Service wise, the people were very friendly and nice - just that this place is quite popular that there were a lot of people so there were moments where we have to wait a bit to have the desserts. Atmosphere was buzzing with a lot of people and it was nice to see family and friends gathering and eating together🙌🏼
